Halloween Costume Party 2000
Happy Halloween Tolkienites! Well, another year at TORN has passed, and it is
time for our annual Halloween Costume Party! Many of us Tolkien fans enjoy
donning Middle-Earth apparel, and escaping the hectic schedule of daily life
for one day a year. If you are one of these people, get a photo of yourself
in your best Tolkien garb, and send it in to us! We may make it worth your
while! So, slap on the Gandalf beard, or the Gollum eyes, and get your camera!
Costumes will be judges for originality and creativity, so invest some time,
and look your best, many will enter but few will win!

Offical Rules:
- All entries must be postmarked by November 20, 2000 and received by November 27, 2000.
- Initial judging will start on November 28th. Final judging by the viewers of
TheOneRing.net™ will begin on December 6, 2000.
- All entries must include a picture of the person, his/her e-mail address,
and a small note saying who he/she is supposed to be although it is not required,
a small description of the character would be a good thing to include.
- All people submitting pictures give permission to TheOneRing.net™ to post
those pictures on the website TheOneRing.net™ staff will evaluate all entries
in a primary round. Once the top three submissions from each category have been selected,
the photographs will be posted on the site. The final winner(s) in each category
will be decided based on votes they receive from visitors to the site.
