Bad Taste Finally Hits Region 4
- Submitted by Hamish

For the first time, Jacksons first feature, Bad Taste, will be released to the public on an estimated date of September 15th 2004.

Details are still coming in on this, but Universal are releasing a fully packed 'Special Edition' which will, get this, feature an AUDIO COMMENTARY by the boys (excluding P.J), all New Interviews, Behind The Scenes Details, dont forget about the surround sound and re-mastered picture.

This is a first of its kind, although Bad Taste has hit a few DVD releases, none have featured any new material like this one. If you want to pre-order this DVD, it appears that Ezy DVD are taking orders.

Colin and Kyle. How do you like them apples?
- Submitted by Lewman

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Colin Hanks (news) and "Early Edition" star Kyle Chandler (news) have been tapped to join the gorilla gang in Peter Jackson's "King Kong" remake.

They join Naomi Watts, Jack Black (news) and Adrien Brody (news) in the Universal Pictures reimagination of the classic story. Hanks is on board to play a production assistant to filmmaker Carl Denham (Black) with Chandler in negotiations to play a 1930s B-movie actor opposite Watts' character, Ann Darrow.

Andy Serkis (Gollum in Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" films) is providing the reference for the character of Kong, who will be a completely computer-generated character, as well as playing the role of Lumpy the cook.

Jackson said he was excited to work with Hanks and Chandler.

"The fun part of my job is getting to work with talented actors like Colin -- because they bring so much more to a role than what is written on the page," he said. "Kyle is playing a B-movie actor who appears in the film Denham is shooting on Skull Island. It's a film within a film, and I'm sure he'll make the most of the dramatic opportunities."

Hanks, son of Tom Hanks (news), starred with Black in the 2002 comedy feature "Orange County."
