On June 28th the long awaited KONG trailer was released over at Volkswagen.com! And, well, what can I say? Itīs pretty cooooooolllllllllll... Right now there are only two different versions available. A English version and a German version of the trailer. There are no differences in content between the trailers...just the language ;).
Calisuri over at KongisKing.net made a pretty sweet and VERY detailed frame by frame trailer analysis. Follow the link to read it: KiKnīs trailer analysis
Another guy over over at a German fansite called Kaihoro.de made one for the German speaking fans (based on the German trailer of course what could be pretty interesting coz there are some lil differences in the translation). You will find it here: German trailer analysis
...and last but not least the Kong trailer!!! BTW availabe in sweet QT!
German version
Oh...and a lil hint: if you wanna save the trailer on your hard disk you have to click the right mouse button and then "save page as"...;)
If you have a link to another foreign language trailer version please send it to us...;)

According to the leading German "Lord of the Rings" site called "Herr der Ringe-Film" PJ will produce a chinese film named "THE WOLF TOTEM". The production of the film will take 3 years and it will be one of the most expensive Chinese film ever (budget: 48 million dollar). WETA will be responsible for all the Digital Effects.
The story based on a novel by Jiang Rong is about some wolfes who have to survive in the Mongolian prairie.
A release of the film is planned for 2008...

10,000 readers of the world famous British movie magazine "EMPIRE" voted for their favourite directors and PJ made it to number seven! I would say thatīs a pretty good result for a director who released his first really big budget film just three and a half years ago...

Current issue of the Empire magazine
Thatīs the Top Ten:
1 Steven Spielberg
2 Alfred Hitchcock
3 Martin Scorsese
4 Stanley Kubrick
5 Sir Ridley Scott
6 Akira Kurosawa
7 Peter Jackson
8 Quentin Tarantino
9 Orson Welles
10 Woody Allen
