The film was up for five of the prizes, including "Best Film", "Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy", "Best Director", "Best Actor" (Andy Serkis) and "Best Actress" (Naomi Watts), at the ceremony, which was held at the Hilton London Metropole on 13 March. The award was collecton by Andy Sergis who gave a moving speech, stating: I feel that it's great to see Kong get some of the credit it so richly deserves.
