Frighteners SE DVD Cancelled again?

Pretty sad news this, apparently at the recent home theatre forum week in California, Universal have confirmed that the Frighters SE DVD that is supposed to be made, has been majorly held up due to rights issues. And it's now questionable whether it'll ever be released.

Yeah like fuck it is. You know this is strating to piss me off. Universal own the rights to the documentary and all the suplements that were contained on the SE LD released last year, so why are they saying they are having such problems?

Universal are sitting on a goldmine with this DVD, they have the oppurtunity to release a DVD that will be hard to match in terms of quality (i mean what other film has a 4.5 hour documentary, commentary, trailes, directors cut etc.) This film would sell extremely well, if only for the technolgy it implements with extras such as these.

Once again Universal have shown themselves to be stupid fucks. The other occasion was the classic 'Oh yeah let's release this film on the opening day of the olympics, it wont harm it at the box office' Stupid bastards.
