Paquita's Grandmother dies :(

Davina Whitehouse, who played Paquita's Grandmother in Peter Jackson's BrainDead (DeadAlive) passed away Xmas day, aged 90.

Davina Whitehouse, 90, died Dec. 25 after a series of strokes. Whitehouse grew up in London theater and film performing with actors including Sir John Gielgud. She appeared in "Night Nurse" (1931) with Clark Gable and Barbara Stanwyck.

She moved to New Zealand in 1952 with her family and continued her acting career, appearing in plays and films, including "Sleeping Dogs" (1977) with Sam Neil and "Braindead," also known as "Dead Alive" (1992), directed by Peter Jackson.
