The Two Towers Poster as percieved by www.twotowersprotest.org

Just wanted to confirm how insensitive Peter Jackson is being (as pointed out by the genius people at http://www.twotowersprotest.org) by naming his new film 'The Two Towers' by sharing their first idea for the promotional poster:

Now what do you guys think? This website seriously believes that Peter Jackson and New Line cinema, and I quote:

We believe that Peter Jackson and New Line Cinema's actions are in fact hate speech. The movie is intentionally being named The Two Towers in order to capitalize on the tragedy of September 11. Clearly, you cannot deny the fact that this falls under hate speech. We believe that if they will not willingly change the name, the government should step in to stop the movie's production or to force a name change.

Now I've seen the fair share of petitions on the internet that have arose from The Two Towers name, and how they wanted to get it changed, But this site is taking it to new depths!

Do they honestly expect PJ or NL to change the name of the film to be sensitive to the events of September 11th? What are they thinking?

I'm sure Peter Jackson and WETA one day invented a time machine, travelled back 47 years and implanted the idea into Tolkien's head. Something Marty Mcfly would have been real proud of!

I mean I could slightly sympathise with them if say the book had been titled 'The Twin Towers' but as it's 'The Two Towers' I think these nuts really need to have a reality check and concentrate on what the real issues are.

These loonies need to be told how irrational they are thinking. So why don't all you Bastards get in contact with them and let them know how you feel :) Stop them before they try to censor the 1976 King Kong by deleting the entire last part of the film. Which of course has Kong climbing the World Trade Centre due to it not being sensitive for todays times!
