River Anduin

In the third and fourth Ages of the Sun, the Anduin was the largest and longest river on Middle-earth. Its name is Elvish for 'Great River' and it was often simply called The Great River. It's major tributaries were Celebrant, Gladden, Entwash, Limlight, Morguldiun, Erui, Poros and Sirith. The Anduin lands, stretching from its source in the Grey Mountains in the far north to its delta which drained into the Bay of Belfalas in the south, where the lands most holy contested of Middle-earth during the War of the Rings
