Barliman’s is the home of TheOneRing.net’s chatroom. Here you will be able to meet many of the people behind TheOneRing.net while they are trying hard to avoid being ‘glomped,’ offered too many 1420s, dressed up in pink, or being drawn into all the crazy discussions going on here. Come on in, have a few drinks served by Barliman, TheOneRing.net’s always-busy barkeep, and talk to other LOTR fans about things that interest them or you. Every weekend we move ourselves to ‘The Hall of Fire,’ which is the place for a good discussion lead by the knowledgeable Hall of Fire moderators. Topics are announced one week beforehand, so you’ll have plenty of time to read up and then surprise everyone with your theory about Balrogs and wings. This Hall of Fire discussion will take place in three different timezones (an American, European and Australian chat). We alternate our topics, discussing a random topic one weekend, then discussing a chapter from LOTR the next weekend. First-timers are, of course, more than welcome!
