On Tues. December 16TH, The Senator has been honored as the only theatre in Maryland to present the marathon of back-to-back state-of-the-art presentations of the "Director's Cut" EXTENDED EDITIONS of the first two films in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy followed by the Maryland Premiere of "The Return of the King".
Lord of the Rings "Trilogy Tuesday" tickets go on sale at the Senator's box-office at noon on Saturday Oct, 11th.
"The Fellowship of the Ring" will begin on "Trilogy Tuesday" at 12noon and "The Two Towers" will start at 4:30pm. following a 1hr and 45 minute dinner break "The Return of the King" will premiere at 10pm.
The Showcase Senator Theatre, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, offers 900 plush rocker/recliner seats and one of the very best, state-of-the-art big-screen film presentations in the nation.
Tickets are $35 per person and will go on sale on Sat. 10/11 at 12noon at the Senator's Box-Office (cash only). Limit 10 tickets per person, per transaction.
