According to Comic-Con 2005, here is the scheduled events involving The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Thursday, July 14, 12:00-1:30 The Digital Bits: DVD Producers 2005—Join Bill Hunt and Todd Doogan of The Digital Bits.com, as they discuss DVD production and the future of the format with some of the leading special-edition DVD producers working in Hollywood today. Panelists will include Charles de Lauzirika (Alien Quadrilogy, Spider-Man 2, Kingdom of Heaven, Domino), JM Kenny (Midnight Cowboy: 35th Anniversary Edition, Stealth, An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder, Mallrats 10th Anniversary Edition) and Robert Meyer Burnett (X-Men 1.5, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Superman and director of Free Enterprise), who may offer previews of their forthcoming DVD releases. Hello, Harry Potter -- but move over to make way for "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." The movie version of C.S. Lewis' beloved children's story, part of "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, won't be in theaters until Dec. 9. But some booksellers are getting ready to pull out artificial fir trees, fake snow and "Narnia"-inspired stuffed animals. So much for waiting until, say, Halloween to start hawking the Christmas merchandise. And in the world of "Narnia," there's plenty to hawk. [More]

On Wednesday, June 29th, I had the privilege to go to New York City to preview the forthcoming video game "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Buena Vista Games, a division of Disney, provided this first glimpse of the game, which is still in development. Traveller’s Tales is the company responsible for the creation of the game. One of their more recent achievements is the Lego Star Wars video game. [More]

I just just found out today about some Narnia movie-related people going and thought others would like to know as well -- Stephen Ure (Satyr) and Kiran Shah (Ginarrbrik) as well as Shane Rangi and Sandro Kopp who both play Centaurs. Three members of the Weta team are going as well. [More]
