Narnia-trailer in front of Star Wars?

JoBlo.com is reporting today that a trailer for The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe will be attached to all prints of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith! The latest Star Wars-movie will make a worldwide debut on May 19th. And whether or not this rumour is true, Australian newspaper The Age already found out who will do the voice-over in the trailer: Ozzie actor Nick Tate! The folks from Ustecky Tydenik have done it again. They went back to the winter Narnia-sets in the town of Tisá (or Tisé if you like) days before principal photography officialy wrapped, wrote up a new report of their trip and took some new pictures! All of which can be found here!

Narnia.com updated: principal photography has wrapped

The official website, Narnia.com received its first update since last March this week. A statement was posted announcing the end of principal photography: Principal photography for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, which began last summer in Auckland, has come to an end. Production now moves from New Zealand to Los Angeles for post-production and finishing, where the CGI elements of the film will being to take shape. [Narnia.com]

Lamp Post Productions Auctions Off Equipment

Lamp Post Productions, the production company behind The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe has wrapped up production down in New Zealand. As a result they are now auctioning off some of the stuff they won't be needing anymore. Unfortunately no props, sets or weapons, nay, computers, furniture and machinery. [More]

Rhythm & Hues Uses Massive for Narnia

SFX-company Rhythm&Hues (the folks responsible for bringing us the computer generated special effects in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe) has been using the MASSIVE software (of Lord of the Rings-fame) to bring the upcoming Narnia-movie to life. Apparently they took another trip down to the set(s) that have been appearing here and there near the alpine town of Tisé and found a heightened state of security and director Andrew Adamson visiting before filming begins next week! Happy Birthday Shane Rangi!

Today is Shane Rangi's Birthday! Shane plays General Otman in The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, he also played 'Harad Leader 2' in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and 'White Witch King of Agmar' in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring although he was uncredited. Shane was born on February 3rd, 1969 that makes him 36 years old today! Happy Birthday!
