Members Pack Details
Right you lot! :) Ive been working like a bitch to sort out the members pack and this is pretty much what we have come up with ;P I'd love to hear from all of you about what you think, any additions, what you like or dislike. Hell why not even vote on your faviourte pack additions on the poll to the right of this news story :) The price of the pack is still to be confirmed but hopefully this may well be what the final pack is :) 1. A members card. This would contain the members name, member number and password to access the members section. 2. E-mailed monthly newsletter. This would contain exclusive information and have additions from the entire TBHL team. 3. Introductory letter signed by PJ. A letter welcoming fans to the fanclub. Signed by PJ at the bottom. 4. Signed photo. This would be a signed photo from Peter Jackson. This could even be customised for say the first 1000 bastards. For example 'Bloody good wishes Lewman! Ya bastard! - Peter Jackson' 5. T-shirt. A t-shirt that has the TBHL logo on it and of course says the Official Peter Jackson Fanclub. These would of look cool in black. 6. Access to the members section. This would contain lots of stuff not featured elsewhere on the website. For example maybe video clips of other PJ films like Valley of the Stereos or say Mp3s of the Bad Taste and Meet the Feebles soundtracks. 7. Q&A with PJ members only. Members can submit questions to TBHL. AT which point the staff select say 10 - 15 of them and when we can we submit them to PJ or even maybe even ask them over the phone and record the interview into a computer audio file. This could then be placed in the members section. 8. Member only competitions. Where members can enter competitions to say win Signed posters or even other bits and bobs from Peter's films. Hell, I'd love to try and win PJ's belt that he wore around his head in Bad Taste. 9. Merchandise like badges, stickers. Say like a PJ badge, or maybe characters from his films. A sticker set of loads of pics from his films would be pretty cool. Could stick them on lots of things, customise your mobile phone with them :)

Your chance to go to the premiere of Two Towers!
Okay, don't mean to get your hopes up or anything. I'm afraid we're not offering the chance to win tickets, or even Peter Jackson's email address so that you can beg him for some. No instead I thought I point you to New Line Cinema's auction site, on which they are auctioning off the chance for someone to get their grubby mits on a pair of VIP tickets, to join select member's of the cast at the premiere on December 10th, 2002 European Premiere in Paris. The lucky winners are even invited to the star spangled after party! The two sets I found (they may be putting more up later, but I'm not sure) stand at $2,009.00 and $6,501.00, finishing at 11/29/2002 7:00 PM and 11/22/2002 7:00 PM respectively. So if you're a loaded fan of LOTR, and you've got more money than me (i.e. destitute student), then why not get bidding for the event of a lifetime. Let us know if you get it, It'd be cool to think that one of the bastards was going!

King Kong Update & Zombie Film Hinted
A recent article in the 'Dominion Post', has a new update to Peter Jacksons remake of King Kong. After Universal pulled out in 1997, they have since come back and asked to be back in the deal again. As well as King Kong on the list, Jackson has hinted that he would like to squeeze in a low-budget zombie film to be shot over a long period of time.
