Frighteners SE DVD Cancelled again?
Pretty sad news this, apparently at the recent home theatre forum week in California, Universal have confirmed that the Frighters SE DVD that is supposed to be made, has been majorly held up due to rights issues. And it's now questionable whether it'll ever be released. Yeah like fuck it is. You know this is strating to piss me off. Universal own the rights to the documentary and all the suplements that were contained on the SE LD released last year, so why are they saying they are having such problems? Universal are sitting on a goldmine with this DVD, they have the oppurtunity to release a DVD that will be hard to match in terms of quality (i mean what other film has a 4.5 hour documentary, commentary, trailes, directors cut etc.) This film would sell extremely well, if only for the technolgy it implements with extras such as these. Once again Universal have shown themselves to be stupid fucks. The other occasion was the classic 'Oh yeah let's release this film on the opening day of the olympics, it wont harm it at the box office' Stupid bastards.

A bit of a big update today! :) First of all better inform you that the films pages have again been updated. Lots of stuff has been added to them such as signed NZ posters by PJ and also that other side to the UK Braindead media card that a lot of people have been asking about! We have also corrected a lot of mistakes and split the sections up further to make it easier for you to navigate! :) We've also added a new BOB entry. this one is from Hideous thingIt's a great poem about his experiences of watching Bad Taste for the first time. So goto the BOB and check it out! :) We've also had another winner of the Clever Bastard Award. The PIT of DARKNESS proved that it was a site worthy of the Clever Bastard award, and we at TBHL are ded proud of this guys efforts :) And Last of all, we are going to start having scheduled TBHL chats in our chat room, starting next Sunday at 9pm GMT (that'll be about 4pm in US) SO if you have some spare time why not join us and talk about PJ and his films :)

Cool Look At PJ Films
This is an intresting one, a look at PJ's films and what they will mean for the LOTR trilogy. Although I dont agree with what they've said about half the movies (hey anyone that dissess Meet The Feebles, gets a flogging from me) I still reckon It's great reading on one guys opinion of PJ's films. Meet the Feebles Region 2 DVD
News just in. Apparently Meet the Feebles is going to hit the Uk market this month! Detials are sketchy at the moment but apparently it's going to be released on the 28th February by Arrow Films and will most likely retail at £15.99 Let's hope it's not just a port of the P&S video version, although I can't really see Arrow films doing very much after seeing their work on the Day of the Dead & Scanners DVDs, Doh!

Frighteners Region 4
Just been told that all you Region 4 peeps will be able to get the Region 4 release of the frighteners on February 16 No word on the extras yet, don't hold your breath it'll most likely be like the region 1 and 2
