I’ve recently had a look at a couple of the most awesome Tolkien related items I’ve run across yet! The folks at Fantasy Pewter have a great collection of pewterware influenced by The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I checked out the Ent goblet and the Ring goblet and I must say these things are absolutely incredible! The workmanship is superb, the designs well … well, designed ; ) and they are wonderfully heavy!
Fantasy Pewter also has a collection of pewter figures, dragons for the most part, and an INCREDIBLE looking chess set. The forces of good do battle with the forces of evil… Sauron and Strider as the kings and Shelob and Galadriel as the queens!

Classic Rock Orchestra CD Review!

Boy, I just listened to this CD and it was like a musical journey through Middle Earth! The CD has 5 separate passages, starting with a relaxing Overture. Then as we move into the 4 different movements on the cd, one can definitely feel the different parts of the books coming to life! From Hobbiton and the start of the journey, in an inventive Celtic like piece in Movement 1, to the Cracks of Doom, with the brash type sypmhonic sound of the ending pieces.
