More actors from LOTR:FOTR have followed Craig Parker (Haldir) and will attend Ring*Con 2002 in Bonn, Germany. Recently the appearance of Mark Ferguson (Gil-Galad), Cameron Rhodes (Farmer Maggot) and Sarah McLeod (Rosie Cotton) has been confirmed, with a promise of more actors to follow! Oscars Could Be Moved Forward

'The date of the Oscars could be changed from March to February. At a meeting of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science's Board of Governors, they discussed the idea of moving Hollywood's big night forward. It might also allow the Oscars to get one over on some of the competing awards shows that have been trying to steal its thunder. (At least MTV awards got it right! - S) Although there appears to be support among several board members for the change, if any changes do take place, they are more likely to happen in 2004 than in 2003.' 'Hollywood has already begun talking about possible nominees for next year's Oscars. About A Boy is said to be generating a buzz, with Hugh Grant and Toni Collette as possible acting nominees. Insomnia and Minority Report are also thought to be possible winners of the Best Picture Oscar. Tom Hanks and Sam Mendes are thought to be good bets as nominees. Other possibilities include The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, Gangs Of New York, and even Eminem's acting debut, 8 Mile.' FOTR Makes A Comeback In The Philippines

Eric, who lives in the mid-west USA, writes: I work for a local movie theater, and I just got word from my manager about the TWO TOWERS. I went to ask them if we were getting the new TTT posters, and he mentioned that THE FIRST MOVIE this summer to come with the TTT Trailer is MEN IN BLACK 2. The film reels will have the trailer attached, but the managers can switch the trailers to other movies. SO...if you're theater has MIB2, then that theater does have the trailer.

Tech TV shows TTT Teaser Trailer

Galen wrote in to let us know that US cable channel Tech TV's "Tech Live" broadcast the Two Towers Teaser Trailer earlier this evening. "It was the teaser but it seems that they cut it up and rearranged it in an unflattering fashion. Tech TV replays a lot of content the next day during the AM though."

If you get Tech TV, keep an eye out for this.
