Cate Blanchett has begun to film her latest role as murdered reporter Veronica Guerin in my home town of Dublin, Ireland. Blanchett attended a press conference yesterday with Joel Schumacher and answered questions from the media. Shooting will continue in several locations in Ireland for the next few months.

One Party to Rule them All Tickets On Sale Today

In approximately 4 hours (Noon PST) from now, tickets will go on sale for the Tolkien event of the year: TheOneRing.net and Sideshow/Weta's "One Party to Rule them All!" Details will be posted at noon with a link to purchase tickets. The response to the party has been wonderful, so we are expecting a large amount of traffic around the purchase time. NOTE: Before you purchase your tickets, there are specific rules for attendence. Please read these carefully:
1. Tickets are not refundable or returnable.
2. Because of time constraints, tickets will not be shipped to you prior to the event. Your ticket will be at the door when you arrive.
3. If you are purchasing multiple tickets you will need to provide a name for each ticket. Those names will be matched up with your ticket order at the door of the event.
4. Bring valid photo ID and your order number to the event
