Kim writes: LOTR has won two more awards. At the Broadcast Film Critics Assocation Awards Ceremony on January 11th, LOTR tied for best song and won for best composer. The movie was also nominated for Best Picture, and Best Director, Peter Jackson. The Ceremony will be aired on "E!" this Monday at 7p.m. ET/PT.

About 10 and half minutes into it there is a clip where two Weta technicians are pointing at a screen with what looks like an early rendering of (spoiler) Gandalf falling into Khazad Dum. Lindulan writes: LOTR jumped up to #29 on the current album chart this week (despite a decline in sales - typical for the post-holiday period). It was #2 in Internet sales and #2 on the soundtrack chart. BTW, the #1 soundtrack is "O Brother Where Art Thou", which was recently certified 4x platinum and is up for several Grammy awards. It's been #1 almost every week for the past year!
